OVID Inspections
OCIMF OVID inspections that analyse the risk involved on offshore vessels and units.
Overview
OCIMF OVID inspections that analyse the risk involved on offshore vessels and units.
The Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID) is OCIMF's inspection programme for offshore vessels, built on a common inspection protocol shared across the offshore industry. We prepare for and attend OVID inspections, giving our principals an accurate picture of the vessel before it is deployed.
Our accredited inspectors work through the OVIQ question set, review the vessel's operations, equipment and management systems, and help the crew close out the observations most likely to affect acceptance.
